US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday called for rapid measures to ease Israeli-Palestinian violence, following a sharp escalation in bloodshed between the two sides. "We're urging all sides now to take urgent steps to restore calm, to deescalate," Blinken said alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after they held talks in Jerusalem.
