'Attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque intercepted by Israeli forces'
FRANCE 24's correspondent in Jerusalem Irris Makler described last night as "very strange", with most people "inside their homes and safe rooms, with 24/7 rolling coverage on all the tvs, all the radios, everywhere." She went on to add that one of the most extraordinary images from last night was the sight of the Al-Aqsa Mosqa with drones around it in the sky being intercepted by Israeli planes. "You just think, 'what an extraordinaty scence we were seeing': an attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque intercepted by Israeli forces."
