French political turmoil highlights ‘normalisation of far-right politics’, expert says

As French media focuses on the recent ousting of The Republicans’ leader after a proposed alliance with the far right, Brown said more attention should be paid to the “mainstreaming of exclusionary politics with people at the sharp end of far-right politics suffering the consequences the most”.
