French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday announced the dissolution of the French parliament and called snap legislative elections after the far-right trounced his centrist alliance in EU polls. Calling the decision “reckless”, candidate for Socialist Party Party-Place public Thomas Pellerin-Carlin said Macron has just given the far right National Rally party “what they’re been asking for”.
