Britain’s Labour party is headed for a landslide victory in the general election, ending 14 years of Conservative rule, an exit poll suggested on Thursday. It is being described as a historic loss for the Tories and would mean that Labour’s Keir Starmer would replace Richi Sunak at No. 10 Downing Street. The poll showed that the Labour party is set to win 410 seats in the 650-seat parliament.
