FRANCE 24 spoke to Kerry Kennedy, president of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organisation. She's one of the 11 children of Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968 – five years after his brother, then president John F. Kennedy. Kerry Kennedy's brother, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, is now running for president as an independent candidate. Like most of the Kennedys, Kerry supports President Joe Biden's re-election bid. Warning that the "world order" would be at risk with a new Trump presidency, she called the November vote "the most important presidential election in our lifetime". "There is no chance that Bobby could win this election," she noted, expressing concern that her brother could take crucial votes from Biden. "We need every Biden vote to go to Biden," she told FRANCE 24, urging her brother to "drop from the race".
