A short while ago, acourt in Dakar, Senegal has sentenced opposition leader Ousman Sonko to a 2-month suspended sentence on charges of defamation. Yesterday, tensions were running high in the Senegalese capital when security forces fired tear and stun grenades to disperse supporters of Sonko. Sam Bradpiece, FRANCE 24's correspondent in Dakar, tells us more.
